Hello, all…

We are settling in nicely to the new location now, with just a few dozen more boxes to sift through before we're done. The new sign is up, & pictures will be on the website & Facebook page today! Experiencing it in person is so much more visceral an experience though, so come on by! We've missed you terribly but have been sheepish about telling you because we still collectively grapple with letting our guard down and displaying true emotion. But we feel you're worth the risk.

We did it! The move is complete, except for figuring out where to put a few things. People are digging the new space, I am excited for you to come by and let me know your thoughts! In case you missed the 2,168 memos I've posted in person or digitally, we moved just across the street to 819-A WEST BROAD STREET! And the new phone number is 804 303 1783. Put it in your beeper!

Hello, all...

Nope, we didn't forget about the weekly newsletter. We're just working out the logistics around the clock for our pending movie this coming weekend across the street to 819 W Broad Street! We will be open and operating normally through Saturday, October 30th. Then we'll be closed Sunday 10/31 to get all the heavy lifting done, and be open in the new spot Monday November 1st! Expect sales galore this week as we try to reduce the amount of product we've got to lug, culminating in a big sale/wake for the current spot on Saturday. Here's what we've go marked down currently:

If you see an enormous guy lurking behind the counter this week, don't be alarmed. That's just Velocity's newest acquisition, Tim Franzak. Tim is a virgo who loves Green Lantern, Scott Pilgrim, and has the distinction of being one of the only people on Earth ever to need special shoes that actually make him shorter. Please kindly welcome Tim to the flock with praise and high (very high) fives.
