This week we've got a new feature for you fine people to enjoy, and we're calling it HIGH/LOW! It's extremely complicated, so please try to follow along. See, the 'high' is going to be the best comics news of the week, and the 'low' is going to be something that IS NOT good. So one is good things and the other is not good things. We'll do a practice one first. LOW: getting murdered. HIGH: Finding a bag of cash. I think you probably get it now, and if you still don't then I'm sort of at a loss. So now let's do this for real---
LOW: ROB LIEFELD assumes command of Savage Hawkman, Grifter, and Deathstroke. I can understand the sort of kitsch factor in having Liefeld draw something, but giving him three books to write is a very strange decision indeed, especially when one of the books is one of the best and most underrated in the new 52, Deathstroke. I imagine they must have offered Liefeld the writing gig after a bunch of interns and some strangers on the subway and all the editors parents turned it down. But who knows, maybe it'll be great.
HIGH: DC this week announced six new titles that will be launching soon, among them DIAL H, to be written by big time novelist China Mieville, and the return of BATMAN INC by Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham.
