BY NOW you have probably heard the trumpets blaring around the Internet that the upcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA #600 is going to be some kind of big deal. Si big, in fact, that Marvel is planning on making the issue available to some stores two days early, on Monday June 15th, instead of Wednesday as usual. Well, VELOCITY COMICS WILL NOT BE ONE OF THESE STORES. We'll have our CAPTAIN AMERICA #600'S on WEDNESDAY JUNE 17. Now, be on the lookout for some big announcement from Marvel that Monday. Apparently they're pretty convinced that whatever they have planned is a pretty big deal. My guess? Cap has to fight a Lord Pigus to become KING OF THE BARN, which will then set the stage for the epic BARN REIGN trilogy that will close out the year. Either that, or Steve Rogers is coming back from the dead (yawn).

VELOCITY COMICS GOES GREEN: That's right, we're painting everything green. Pat thinks it'll give the place more of a "Nightvision" look. NOT REALLY. But we are RADICALLY CHANGING THE WAY WE DO CHEAT SHEETS. No longer will you find printed cheat sheets in your pull box! You'll now have two options instead: review the bulletin board we'll have hanging up and tell us what you want, or fill out a cheat sheet online and email it back to us. The online cheat sheet will be available soon, so keep your eyes open and alert.

NO DRAW CONTEST THIS MONTH. We've already got some ideas for the next one, but we're gonna take some time to let them cook before we pull them from our mind-ovens and shove them down your throats. SO BE AWARE OF THAT.
