HELLO, and welcome to yet another in a long line of Velocity Comics Newsletters. If you're just joining us for the first time, this is where I rant and rave about how my life hasn't worked out the way I hoped it would, and then talk about comics to distract myself and calm down. SHALL WE BEGIN?

DRAW! The theme for our most daring DRAW CONTEST is BRINGING DIGNITY TO GAMBIT. As previously announced, what we want you to do is BRING DIGNITY TO GAMBIT. Think Gambit is already dignified? Draw an interpretation of Gambit that proves it. Do this better than anyone else and you just might win some FREE COMICS. The deadline for this contest is NOV. 6TH, and that's firm, dudes and dudettes. if you can't get it done by then, there's basically no hope for you at all.

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Last week we suffered a massive corruption of our pull list. We're confident that we have it all figured out and have taken steps to insure that there will be no further problems. However, we would appreciate it if you would be as cool as possible while we make sure that everything is back on track. Find something in your box that shouldnt be? Let us know so we can fix the list. Something missing that you know you added? Make sure you tell us so we can make sure you get the comics you need in order to feel alive.
