What did you think of Kick-Ass #1? I liked it, but in all honesty...

SPOILER ALERT

I think that it works better as a one-shot that ends with the last page of issue #1, instead of the first part of a continuing story. If it ended with the kid bleeding and suffering MAJOR injuries in the street it would have satisfactorily answered the question, "Why aren't there real superheroes"? Instead we are asked to suspend disbelief in a comic that promised to take a real-world approach to superheroes.

Let's see what happens in issue #2. What are your thoughts?
